MDHS 25/26 Semester 1 Final Exam Schedule
Dear AMDSB secondary student families,
The details below provide information about the upcoming exam period (January 23-29, 2026) as there have been changes. This year, students in ALL classes will complete a final evaluation task during the mornings of Final Evaluation Week.
For most schools the schedule will be as follows:
Friday January 23: All period 1 classes
Monday January 26: All period 2 classes
Tuesday January 27: All period 3 classes
Wednesday January 28: All period 4 classes
Thursday January 29: Contingency/Extra Day (if needed for weather or another reason)
Friday January 30: PA Day
Note: any school specific changes to this schedule will be communicated to families in advance.
All students must be present to write exams/culminating evaluations at scheduled times.
Students who may benefit from additional support will have opportunities to meet with their classroom teacher(s) during the afternoons on these days. Students who might benefit from additional support will be invited by their teacher to participate in opportunities to show their learning, during the Final Evaluation period. Students who wish to receive additional support should communicate this request with their teacher prior to the last instructional day.
Exam days are considered regular school days. Please avoid booking vacations or any other avoidable absence for these times.
