MDHS Staff and Students Win Excellence in Public Education Awards!

ACT-ive Minds: 1-Day Mental Health and Well-Being summer Workshop for Youth

The AMDSB Mental Health & Well-Being Team, in partnership with the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board’s Mental Health & Wellness Team, are offering a one-day therapeutic workshop in July.
Students who are entering Grade 8 to Grade 12 in the 2025-2026 school year are eligible to participate in the program.
The program will run on the following dates and locations from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm: ● July 8: Hamlet Public School, Stratford, ON ● July 9: Seaforth Public School, Seaforth, ON ● July 10: Clinton Public School, Clinton, ON ● July 14: Goderich Public School, Goderich, ON ● July 16: North Perth Westfield Elementary School, Listowel, ON ● July 17: Seaforth Public School, Seaforth, ON

Join us as we show the film "Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age"

Heads up Blue Devils! Are you a student in Grades 10-12 who is interested in international travel? If so, check out next year’s “In Their Footsteps” trip to London, Paris, Normandy, and Vimy.

“Travel from England to France and see where the 20th century’s hardest-fought conflicts took place. Travel around London and relive the tension of The Blitz by seeing inside the Cabinet War Rooms, the secret headquarters where Churchill and his staff directed Allied moves. Visit Juno Beach in Normandy, where Canadian troops landed on June 6, 1944 and began to force the German retreat during World War II.”

Empowering Future Leaders: A Journey Towards Equity and Inclusion

At AMDSB, we’re committed to fostering a community where every voice is valued. This year, we’re continuing our partnership with unlearn. to empower students interested in leadership and social justice. Recently, students from our secondary schools and Stratford Secondary School (SIS) gathered at the Brodhagen Community Centre for an inspiring workshop focused on student voice and that used graphic design as a way to provoke thoughtful discussions.
